Autism Society Thrissur is a registered (Reg.No.107/08) charitable Organization of parents and well wishers of autistic persons.

The society exists to improve the quality of life of all affected with autism by:

• ensuring their social protection
• acting as a change agent in their socio-economic life
• promoting awareness and responsiveness among the parents in particular and among the public in general.

The society envisages an independent and meaningful life of all affected persons and their families so much so that the impairment in their personnel attributes are more than compensated by bringing their skills to the surface for the benefit of the world at large.

To accomplish the above vision, the society has well defined short term and long term goals to be achieved in a phased manner.

Autism care Centre Valarkavu, Thrissur symbolizes the first two phases of our journey.

The centre operates in a double storied building with approximately 4050 sq.feet built up area near valarkavu Temple, hardly 3 kms east of Swaraj Round, Thrissur.

Apart from various initiatives to improve socialization, the centre offers training by experts in

• Academics
• Drawing
• Music
• Computer
• Craft
• Self skills
• Speech therapy
• Occupational therapy

The class timing is between 10 AM and 4 PM. We also have travel facility to different locations in and around Thrissur. Awareness sessions on different topics are offered to the parents by conducting seminars by experts in related fields.

Vocational training designed based on individual talents and traits of the participants starts in April,2018.
